Convergence of Artificial Intelligence and Local Industries (AI+X), Looking at the Future of Busan's Strategic Industries

'Artificial Intelligence, Innovation and Impact Across Industries' Conference to be Held at Bexco, October 1-10.2

 

The city of Busan announced that it will hold the 'AI+X Conference' at BEXCO on October 1 and 2 with the theme of 'Artificial Intelligence, Innovation and Impact across Industries'.

 

It is organized by the city, the Ministry of Science and ICT, Gyeongsangnam-do, Daegu, Ulsan, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and the Korea Information and Communication Industry Promotion Agency.

Artificial intelligence technology is rapidly permeating not only each industry but also daily life, and domestic and foreign AI technology development and utilization companies are competing endlessly to preempt advanced technologies.

 

The event was organized to bring together top experts in the field of artificial intelligence, leading companies in local strategic industries, and startups to discuss innovative growth plans for the entire industry and economy of Busan through the transformation of artificial intelligence.

 

It is promoted as part of the 'Creating a Foundation for Convergence of Manufacturing Industry and Artificial Intelligence' project, a cooperative project between five provinces in the Yeongnam region in accordance with the Ministry of Science and ICT's 'Direction for Promoting Regional Spread of Artificial Intelligence (2021.10)'.

The main programs include expert lectures and discussions on

AI transformation and innovation plans for future industries

▲ AI application cases in the manufacturing sector

▲ current status and success stories of AI startup ecosystems

▲ and AI convergence plans in the financial, film, and tourism industries.

 

Members of the Digital Platform Government Committee directly under the President, Ha Jung-woo and Oh Soon-young, ▲ Director Kwon Kwon-seul, who won the Grand Prize at the 1st Dubai International AI Film Festival in 2024, ▲ CEO Park Kiwoong of Santa, a promising local startup company, and CEO Jang Chang-hee of Tyrell will introduce success stories of convergence of AI and various industries.

All domestic and foreign companies, related industries, and citizens interested in A.I. are welcome to participate in the event.
